Earth Day Canoe & Cookout

The Earth Day Canoe & Cookout was held at Terry Trueblood Recreation Area in Iowa City on April 22, 2016.

Over 300 participants ate Jimmy John's sandwiches, hotdogs, veggie burgers and banana boats on the grill.

There were many activities including:

Face Painting

Art

Canoeing & kayaking

And playing in the sand!

Our volunteers worked hard to put it all together.
